Toyota has launched the RAV4 Hybrid SUV in Nepal, priced at Rs 2.13 Crore, featuring a 2.5-litre hybrid powertrain with all-wheel drive. The hybrid system combines a 137 kW petrol engine and a 1.09 kWh lithium-ion battery, offering fuel efficiency of 15–20 km/l. The RAV4 Hybrid boasts advanced tech including a 10.5-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and seven airbags for safety. Measuring 4,600 mm in length, it provides 201 mm ground clearance and is equipped with ventilated front disc brakes and LED lighting. The SUV features a technology-rich cabin with wireless charging, automatic climate control, adaptive cruise control, and a power tailgate.
Leapmotor B03X (A10) sales have started in Nepal at Rs 46.99 lakh, with the first 100 buyers getting it for Rs 44.99 lakh through Shangrila Motors. Nepal receives the 53 kWh long-range variant with 505 km CLTC range (about 382 km WLTP), a 145 kW motor, and 16-minute 30-80% DC fast charging. The public debut is at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 on August 13 in Kathmandu.
Yadea has launched three new electric scooters in Nepal — GS70, GT70, and GT80 — targeting urban commuters, long-distance riders, and premium buyers. The GS70 features a 2.1 kWh LFP battery and 2.8 kW motor with a range of up to 105 km, while the GT70 offers a dual 5.7 kWh battery system and 3.7 kW motor for up to 220 km range. The premium GT80 comes with a 3.6 kWh lithium battery, 5 kW motor, and a top speed of 80 km/h, with all models including smart connectivity and safety features like dual-disc brakes. All three models are available through 20 authorized dealerships in Nepal with a 3-year or 50,000 km battery warranty and an introductory discount of Rs 10,000 until the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.
Tata Motors Nepal will launch the updated Tata Tiago EV at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, joining the Punch EV as key electric offerings. The refreshed Tiago EV features a redesigned exterior, upgraded cabin with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, and enhanced safety including six airbags and a 360-degree camera. It supports 30 kW DC fast charging, charging from 10-80% in 35 minutes, and retains 3.3 kW/7.2 kW AC charging options with regenerative braking and multiple driving modes. The EV maintains the existing 24 kWh battery pack, building on the current Nepalese market pricing of Rs 27.49 lakh to Rs 29.99 lakh for similar variants.
TVS Motor Company will showcase its flagship TVS X electric scooter at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, marking its entry into the Nepali electric vehicle market.. The TVS X features an 11 kW motor, 40 Nm torque, a 4.44 kWh battery pack, and a large 10.2-inch TFT touchscreen display with advanced connected technology.. Performance highlights include a 0-40 km/h acceleration time of 2.6 seconds and a top speed of 105 km/h.. GWM Nepal plans to showcase the Jolion Max EV, a new electric SUV, at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. The Jolion Max EV boasts a 58.3 kWh battery, offering a WLTC-certified range of over 400 km and a powerful 150 kW motor. GWM Nepal has ended the introductory pricing offer for the Ora 5 Electric SUV and introduced standard retail pricing for new bookings. The mid-variant Ora 5 is now priced at Rs 48.49 lakh, while the high-variant is priced at Rs 53.99 lakh, reflecting a price increase from the previous introductory rates. The Ora 5 EV boasts a claimed NEDC range of up to 520 km and features advanced safety and technology, including 5-star ANCAP and Euro NCAP ratings, seven airbags, and over 20 ADAS features.
